Monday Memo

 Good Monday Morning,

 

Yesterday was sure a nice first day of spring.  As I was outside working in the yard, it seemed like things were greening up right before my eyes.  I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh air and sun! 

 

Spring Break

We have two full weeks before Springbreak.  For many of us, we are looking forward to some time to rest and be with our family; however, for some of our students, the anticipation of spring break will provoke anxiety and concern.  Each and every day, you are the consistent support and nurturer our students.  The break will be hard for some of our most fragile students…please give them a bit of extra support!  

 

Mighty Microgreens Class Presentation

On March 30th, the cafeteria will be serving sandwiches with Microgreens from a local farm, Mighty Microgreens. Seth, from the farm, is interested in coming in and teaching an elementary class about microgreens and how they grow.  Please connect with Cassandra if you would be interested in having Seth share in your class.

 

Intercom System

Today at 8:35 AM will be our first all-school announcement.  This will include a brief welcome and flag salute.

 

Playground Zones

Please be sure to review the playground zones.  Some smaller posters will be created with the zones.

Friday's PD Schedule

Please use the first hour of PD to plan and prepare for parent-teacher conferences.  The second hour is team collab time!

 

Banana Split Parties

It has been loads of fun connecting with your class with the Banana Splits.  Please be sure to schedule your party once the class earns their tickets.
