Spring Field Trip Idea
What ideas or dates do you have for your class's field trip? Please let me know if you need some help. The field trip request form needs to be submitted two weeks prior to the field trip date.
As we start to wrap up this school year, please think about a grade-level field trip that you would like to have for your students at the end of May or the beginning of June.

MAC's Pixel Exhibit and Riverfront Park
Spokane House and Riverside State Park
Bowling and Picnic
Natural Reserve with Inturpitive Hike (Dishman, Little Spokane or Turnbull)

Earth Day Project
The following link will direct you to the Earth Day signup form. This link has a signup table, zone description, and a small classroom memo as an example to be sent home. I'll have gloves and bags available for each team. Please signup by placing your name in the teacher column for the zone that you would like.
May 5th Family Night Out
May 5th is our first family night out in two years! I am looking forward to connecting with parents and students. We will have a community dinner, a gallery walk highlighting various classroom projects, and a family engagement activity at this event. Additionally, we will be connecting with our new kindergarten families! A printed backpack flier will be sent home this week. Staff will be paid for extra hours for participating in this event.
PBIS Incentives
How is your Charger Card handout going? Remember, the goal is to recognize students for appropriate behavior and expectations. Please stop by the office this afternoon if you need more cards. It has been great to see students making an effort to earn these cards.
Several classes have earned the Auditorium Movie and Pop Corn party. Please work with your team to select a movie and date for your party.
Our next class incentive is the BINGO party. I'll be getting the supplies ordered this week.
