K8 Weekly Memp

Good morning and happy Monday!

This week, we're starting our spring testing season by administering the FastBridge assessments. These assessments are designed to monitor the academic and social-emotional growth of our students. This assessment, along with the SBAC, are utilized to review our school performance.

As we begin our testing season, it's crucial that we create a focused testing environment by ensuring that all necessary resources and technology are ready for the students prior to the testing sessions. Additionally, it's important to actively monitor the testing progress by moving around the classroom and observing student engagement. (Action Needed)

In this session, we work on learning to apologize, a simple but important skill that can help us handle some of the conflicts we get into with others.

Session 32

This session continues the students' examination of the value of respect. In this session, we will review a definition of respect and identify what respect can look like in different school settings. We will then identify settings called "Hot Spots" in their school where more respect is needed, and develop a personal plan for what they can do to help demonstrate and promote respectful behavior.

Session 32

This is the 2nd of 2 sessions related to commitment. In this session, we will learn strategies that can help promote commitment in our daily lives, then make a plan for personal improvement.
