I am attending the Rural Alliance's Principal Cohort meeting off campus today. Mrs. Sulgrove will be touching base with a few of our special education students this morning, and Mr. McClain will be taking care of building and student concerns.
MWSD Open Positions
So far this spring, we interviewed candidates for two open positions. Alissa Williams has been hired as our new MS Math teacher, and Cameron Baker has been hired as our K8 PE teacher. Both are great hires and we congratulate them.

PBIS Team off to 22nd Annual NWPBIS Conference
Darci, Katie, Crystal, and Mandy are going to attend the 22nd Annual NWPBIS Conference in Tacoma on Wednesday. They have done an excellent job in pre-planning for the conference. They will take detailed notes to help us improve our PBIS program in the future.
SBAC and FastBridge Spring Testing - Action Needed
Next week, we start our spring testing with FastBridge Testing.
Then, on May 6th, we will commence with our SBAC testing. Please make sure that you complete the Test Administrator Certification, which is a 20-minute task, and provide Bailey with a copy of your certification by April 30th.

Kindergarten Registration Opens May 1st
Kindergarten registration will open on May 1st. Families with children who are going to attend kindergarten are encouraged to register. The following information is required for registration:
Children must be five years old on or before August 31st, 2023.
Proof of immunizations is required.
Parents must provide a legal, state-issued birth certificate.

Mother's Day is coming up on May 12th. I encourage you to think of activities that your students can do in the classroom to celebrate their mothers. Don't forget to send home their best work!
