This week promises to be full of excitement as we continue with our Charger Monopoly (three more days) and gear up for Halloween festivities on Thursday! These events are building a real sense of anticipation and a strong desire for our students to be at school. Let’s channel this excitement to help our students connect with their learning, showing them that school is not just the right place to be but a fun one, too.
Thank you for all you do to create an environment where students feel eager to learn and know they belong!
Charger Monopoly
Thank you to everyone for participating and having fun with this fall festive game. It was wonderful to see pictures of nearly all our students participating in recess activities led by our para team! The beauty contest pictures and staff nicknames are great! Let’s keep this up the exciting going
MobyMax
We’re working to get our MobyMax account up and running! To streamline access, we’re setting up an automatic rostering system that will allow students to use single sign-on, making it easier for everyone. This system will also enable us to track data more effectively and automatically enroll new students. This process will take a bit of work, so thank you for your patience as we get everything in place to make MobyMax as seamless and efficient as possible.
Last Day of the Quarter
Tomorrow marks the end of the quarter! Please ensure that your grades are up-to-date and posted in Skyward by the end of the week. A printed newsletter will go home this week with detailed instructions for families on accessing grades in Skyward. Thank you for helping keep our families informed and engaged in their students’ progress!
PLC @ Work
Thank you to everyone who has submitted their first Data Analysis Tool! It’s inspiring to see how you’re leveraging this resource to pinpoint the necessary differentiation and interventions that support our students in reaching the essential standards.
As you meet in teams this week, please take some time to review your essential standards and prioritize the key standards—the “list within the list”—that we’ll focus on to ensure every student achieves success.
Don’t forget to swing down the MS Hall for a little FIKA Break!
477 IMPACT Award
Last week, Mike and I connected with Bobbi Williams, the 477 Site Manager for the Spokane Tribe of Indians. She is excited to partner with us in recognizing students through the 477 IMPACT Award.
The IMPACT Award, created by the Spokane Tribal 477 Program, celebrates local youth who demonstrate strong leadership qualities and values. Our goal is for these awards to boost student morale, encourage positive behavior, and build self-esteem. Fully funded by the 477 Program, this award allows us to celebrate even more students at our regular assemblies.
IMPACT stands for the following:
I – Integrity
M – Motivation
P – Purpose
A – Academics
C – Community
T – Teamwork
I am looking for three middle school and three elementary students to be honored with the IMPACT Award. If you have a student in mind, please shoot me an email.
