Good Monday Morning,
What a wonderful way to start the week with a bit of rain! I always enjoy the changes that fall brings—the crisp air, the vibrant colors of the leaves, and the gentle reminder that winter (and snow!) will be here before we know it. It's a beautiful season of transition.
I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the hard work and dedication you all demonstrated during Friday’s Learning Improvement Day. The energy, engagement, and collaboration were truly inspiring, and it’s moments like these that highlight our collective commitment to continuously improving our school for the benefit of our students. I also want to extend a special thanks to our paraeducators for joining in the math training; your contributions make a world of difference, and I appreciate your involvement.
As we continue to grow and learn together, please remember that you can access the staff meeting agendas on the K8 dashboard. Simply click on the “Agenda” tab at the top of the page for quick reference.
Let’s keep the positive momentum going this week! I’m grateful to be on this journey with such a dedicated and caring team.
Boo-opoly
This Wednesday marks the start of our Monopoly event! Please ensure you've read your email and listened to the morning announcements for important details. Don't forget to share the donation sign-up form in your weekly communication to families: tinyurl.com/k8monoply.
Chargerzon
Please connect with Mr. Edwards regarding your class's participation in the Chargerzon store. Make sure your students are aware and ready to engage!
Fall Observations
Formal observations for all provisional teachers are currently underway. I will send out a sign-up sheet for focus teachers to schedule their fall formal observation later this week.
Last week was an absolute firehose of information for me on the topics of best practices for PLCs and effective interventions! I'm excited to apply what I learned by putting it into practice and watching our kids grow! K-5 teachers, could you please be ready to share with me on Tuesday morning the standards that will be your focus from now until Thanksgiving so that I can better support your kiddos! :)
Action needed! There are A LOT of kids in our Middle School who haven't completed mySAEBRs yet even more who don't have a score for SAEBRs! If this could get wrapped up this week that would be very helpful to the Student Support Team! Thank you!
Have a great week,
Darci
