Good Monday Morning!  I hope that everyone had a great weekend.  We have a full week this week, with a nice four-day weekend to celebrate MLK Day.  Remember, that next week is a regular school Friday…please remind your classes.

Diane is back in the building today and will be running the MTSS instructional groups in her office. Next week we will complete our mid-year testing; please see the details below.

Character Strong

January Character Trait

Our character trait for January is Perseverance. We define this by "pushing yourself through challenges and obstacles". Encourage students and yourself to focus on their goals and next steps to accomplish them.

Elementary: December was a short month for Empathy, so if you feel the need to revisit some of those lessons, feel free to do so!

Middle school: We will be covering Character Strong Lessons 17-21.

MTSS Updates from Diane

  • I am meeting with my team on Wednesday (1/11) at 3:00 to make sure we have everything ready to go.

  • You can help us by letting us know of any students who enrolled since the last testing window. (Thanks Harmony for doing this already!) FastBridge has not auto-updated from Skyward so I am trouble shooting to prevent problems later.

  • Let me know when you plan to test, if you need headphones, and how many.
