K8 Weekly Memo

Good Monday morning,

We had a beautiful weekend with a mix of sun and rain, which helped clear the pollen. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well and spent most of yesterday sick at home. I'm still not feeling much better today, so I'll be taking a sick day. Matt will be helping out more in our building today. Thank you, Matt.

Points of Interest

SBAC Testing (Action Needed)

I appreciate everyone's commitment to helping our students do their best on the SBAC testing. Additionally, the 3-5 team has been exceptionally patient and collaboratively worked through our tech issue. This week is our last week of scheduled testing.

Next week are our scheduled makeup days; however, we are going to try to get some of them done this week tool

PBIS Field Day (Action Needed)

We are thrilled to see so many community members signing up to help with our PBIS Prizes. Don't forget to add your class to the list as this is a fantastic way to generate excitement for Field Day. We also want to encourage students to start thinking about the special talent or skill they would like to showcase at the center-stage hula hoop challenge!

To sign up and donate a prize, please click on the following link: tinyurl.com/24k5fieldday. You have the option to select a suggested prize or choose the Donor Choice to create your own themed basket or prize. When completing the signup, please use the following format:

First Name= Johnson's

Last Name = Class

(The donor's name will then show as Johnson's Class.

In addition, we encourage you to reach out to parents and community members who may be interested in supporting our PBIS drawings with a donation or would like to help with the event!
