February is in full swing, and so is your dedication to our students! I continue to be inspired by the hard work and heart you pour into our school each day. A huge thank you for the focused effort during Friday’s Learning and Improvement Day—your commitment to growth and collaboration makes a difference!
And speaking of heart… Valentine’s Day is this week! While our students may be focused on candy and cards, it’s also a great reminder of the care and connections we build every day. Let’s keep the love for learning (and maybe some chocolate) flowing!

Well played, team. WELL. PLAYED. I walked into that staff meeting thinking it was business as usual—only to find out later that I had been bamboozled by a next-level game of "Keyword BINGO." Apparently, turning my usual phrases into a competitive sport made the one-hour-with-me experience a little more fun (and manageable). I suppose I should be grateful that you all found a creative way to help me overcome my killjoy spirit—but now I’ll be extra cautious with my word choices.
On a more serious note (if that’s even possible after this), a huge THANK YOU to the intermediate team for providing breakfast! Nothing says “we got this” like a good meal to start the day. I appreciate you all—BINGO tricks and all!

This campaign launches this week. Each class and advisory is asked to complete three DEAR reading this week.
DEAR – Drop Everything and Read is a dedicated time when students and staff pause their usual activities to engage in independent reading. This initiative fosters a love for reading, builds literacy skills, and emphasizes the importance of making time for books in our daily lives. Whether it’s a novel, magazine, or informational text, DEAR encourages everyone to dive into the joy of reading—no interruptions, just pages turning and minds growing!
Presidents’ Day,
Please remind your classes that Presidents’ Day is next Monday. There will not be school on Monday and we will have a Tuesday to Friday school week.

I’m working to enhance our community memos and would love your help! Please share engaging images and videos that showcase the amazing learning happening in your classrooms. My goal is to feature six pictures per week, and I need your help to make it happen!
Look for opportunities to capture:
Students engaged in hands-on learning
Small group work and collaboration
Active, real-world applications of learning
Videos work great, too! Feel free to email or text me your best shots.
Securing the Building (Action Needed)
The main doors are jamming up and not closing fully. A replacement set is in the workds, but will take some time. Please ensure:
You pull the doors shut when exiting.
The second set of doors need to be secured and locked too!
Thank you for your diligence in keeping our building secure.
School Vaccination Clinic
Vaccine clinic this week on Thursday February 13th from 9 to 12 PM. We will be set up in the staff conference room. We will pull students from class to give them their vaccine if they turned in thier consent.
Please turn in any consents that your students may have turned in.
School Wide Fundraiser - Coming Soon
How were those cookies on Friday! Delicious! We will be launching our school fundraiser on February 21st, students will then have ten days to collect orders. More information to come.
